1. What we collect
Brazil Keys collects information you voluntarily provide through our contact and matching forms: name, email, phone (optional), city of interest, budget range, timeline, and goal. We also collect standard analytics data (page views, referrer, device type) through Google Analytics 4.
2. How we use it
Your form data is used solely to match you with one or more vetted real estate brokers in Brazil. We may also send you occasional updates about Brazilian real estate (market reports, new city coverage, regulatory changes) — you can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We share your brief with the broker(s) we match you to. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Brokers in our network sign confidentiality agreements covering buyer-lead data.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets its cookies (_ga, _ga_*) only after you click Accept in the cookie banner; before that it runs in Google's consent mode without cookies. Analytics cookies do not identify you by name and are governed by Google's privacy policy.
The map on the home page draws its background from map images served by CARTO (built on OpenStreetMap data). Those map images load only after you click Accept, and CARTO then receives your IP address in order to deliver them. Fonts and the map software are served from our own site, so no font or code provider sees your visit.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes your IP address and basic request data (such as the page requested and your browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare may process this data outside Brazil and the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
5. Children's privacy (COPPA)
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has submitted data through this site, contact us at privacy@brazilkeys.com and we will delete it promptly.
6. California residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information Brazil Keys collects about you and how it is used, to request deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Contact privacy@brazilkeys.com to exercise these rights. We will respond within 45 days.
7. European visitors (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. Our lawful basis for processing contact and matching form data is the performance of a service at your request. Contact privacy@brazilkeys.com to exercise your rights.
8. Brazilian users (LGPD)
Under Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), you have the right to confirm, access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to file a complaint with the ANPD. Contact privacy@brazilkeys.com to exercise these rights. We will respond within 15 business days.
9. Data retention
Inquiry data is retained for 3 years after your last interaction. Analytics data follows Google's standard 14-month retention.
11. Favorites and localStorage
When you favorite a listing, we store the listing slug in your browser's localStorage — locally, on your device. This data never leaves your browser unless you submit it via a form.
